IWED FAQs

Is IWED a recognized training institution?

Yes. It is an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) with NCTVET, IWED is also a registered Independent School, with the Ministry of Education.

How do I apply?

Applications are available at the institute at 1 Eureka Road and online

What does accreditation mean?

It means that the courses and institutions are officially recognized and authorized by the particular organization e. g NCTVET.

What is the duration of the accreditation status of courses/programmes?

IWED’s courses are accredited for a four (4) year period from November 2017 – 2021

How often are IWED’s courses/programmes reviewed?

Every four years

If I am currently enrolled in a program/course and need to temporarily withdraw, what is the process?

A letter has to be sent to the Head of the Institute. Persons may consult the Student Handbook for the policy on Tuition Refund.

Will I be required to meet a minimum attendance at classes?

Yes. This is determined based on the requirements of the particular accrediting body for the course.

If I do not meet the entry requirements for a programme/course, can I still be considered?

Persons are normally referred to other institutions to prepare them to meet the entry qualifications.

Is there a cost to register for these programmes?

Yes. Only $1,000.00 as a non-refundable fee

Are there any financial arrangements in place to assist students?

There is a payment plan available to all students

Can I apply for a programme at any time?

Yes.

Are classes on the week days or weekend?

Classes are held primarily on weekends to facilitate persons who work during the week. There are special customized courses offered during the week based on client’s requests.
